A member asked:

6-7 weeks ago condom breaks. went to the doc 2 weeks after, was told white blood cell count is low. i'm having single bumps popinup on face. is it hiv?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Get tested: Please see your doctor to get HIV nucleic acid test. If it is negative, repeat it in 6-7 weeks. If the results are negative at 3-4 months after exposure you can be reasonably sure of being HIV free form this potential exposure.
