Tell your doctor: If you have a cold, the surgery will likely be postponed until after you have recovered until this is a life-threatening situation. If it is an allergy, it can likely be treated before you undergo the surgery. Sneezing may make your incision site very painful. Regardless, contact your doctor to find out what should be done.

Depends: On the type of surgey, anesthesia and how severe your symptoms are, only your doctors, surgeon and anesthesiologist, would decide, good luck
