Basically yes: Ectopic heart beats are very common and rarely dangerous. Some people feel them like you do, others don't feel them at all. An ectopic beat can cause sudden chest discomfort, out of breath, and fatigue. Medications like propranolol can decrease the extra heartbeats. Avoid chocolate, caffeine, stimulants, alcohol.
