Yes. : All heart disease is not created equal, however. Generally, when we talk about heart disease we are speaking if coronary artery disease, which at your tender years, you don't have. You could have a congenital cardiomyopathy or a viral cardiomyopathy of myopathy based on essential hypertension. An enlarged heart and high blood pressure is "heart disease". Talk with your cardiologist for clarifying.
