Similar but not same: POTS is a specific diagnosis that is unusual. Postural dizziness is not specific, and is something that many people have. For example, someone who finds that they get dizzy when they get up from a chair has postural dizziness. With POTS, the heart rate has to go up 30 bpm or over 130 with standing up, along with the dizziness. Hope this helps. Search "Cleveland Clinic POTS" for good info.

Pots: Pots is a syndrome of poor accommodation to change in position of multi factorial issues. Postural dizziness isn't as specific
