Could magnesium oxide get electrolyte out of balance? or endanger me? if not what's the best dose?

Insuff Info: I would need medication list and Med HX to answer. I would also need to know kidney function such as BUN and Creatinine and UR electrolytes. In patients with normal kidney function and nl electrolytes, one could take 100 - 250mgs a day or every other day.
