You should: definitely see a doctor. This may just be a virus, but you could have pneumonia or bronchitis. Listening to your chest and/or a chest x-ray would be the way to tell.

See a doctor: Your symptoms do not sound like the croup symptoms your kids have. The pain with breathing and fever sound suspicious for pneumonia. Please see your doctor as soon as possible.
