See answer: Treadmill tests are less specific and can give false (+) readings and false(-) readings. That is one of the reasons it's not advisable to do routine Treadmill tests on otherwise asymptomatic healthy people. In that group an abnormal result is likely to be false. But if you test a person with symptoms or multiple risk factors for CAD an abnormal result is more likely to be a true positive.
