Yes: While bleeding is somewhat common in early pregnancy, it is not necessarily normal. While it can be seen in normal healthy pregnancies, it could also be a sign of infection, miscarriage, or even an abnormal location of the pregnancy (an ectopic pregnancy). It is important to see you doctor ASAP for evaluation.
