Allergy shots: Or immunotherapy, is the only disease modifying treatment so far known that changes the immune system response to external allergens. It is not meant to be a decongestant by itself, other medicines to relieve pressure should be taken during the course untill the desired effect is felt, can take up to a year to feel the difference and course continues for 3-5 years but rather 4-6weekly shots,
