Herpetic conjunctivi: The most common medications used for herpetic conjunctivitis or keratitis are acyclovir and valacyclovir pills. There are also eye drops, like trifluridine that some MDs prescribe, but they are used for a very short time frame. I find the pills to be best. You may be prescribed antibiotic drops to prevent superinfection on top it, but it depends. Hope that helps.
