My son was dx with pneumonia. just found a qtr sized blood spot on pillowcase. not sure it's blood, but is it normal to cough blood with pneumonia?

Can be: If it is blood the location is undetermined. It may have come from another area of the respiratory tract such as his nose. If it persists or if he is worse instead of better have him checked. All the best.
