DUB: It sounds like dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB) which can result from hormonal imbalances during the menstrual cycle. Change of 9 days for 2 cycles in a row is a little unusual. I suspect you are not currently taking oral contraceptive pills/OCPs. I think you can watch another cycle, but if further changes, schedule a visit with your doctor/OB-GYN.May need hormonal regular with OCPs. Good luck

Your hormones: are likely in flux for whatever reason, and you would need to be patient to see if things would settle down. Menstrual fluctuations are affected by many different factors, including nutrition, psychological state of mind, stress, infections/ illnesses, etc. If things continue to be irregular or unpredictable in the next couple of months, get yourself to a GYN or family Doc.
