Break-thru bleeding: This is "break-through bleeding" or "spotting". It's very common and generally not worrisome. It's usually caused by an imbalance in the hormones progesterone and estrogen. It's more common in women using hormonal contraceptives. If it recurs month after month or if other irregularities occur, see your personal gyn professional.
