Just been diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia, and started on a treatment course, will the pain still get worse over time? will my anxiety decrease?

No: trigeminal neuralgia, although it can be very painful, can be treated. There is no reason it should get worse over time, especially if you find the right treatment. Once you are no longer in pain, your anxiety might decrease.
