Anti inflammatory: Naproxen is an aspirin like medication that helps with pain, inflammation and swelling. It may help reducing symptoms that are uncomfortable. Of note, most sinusitis is viral and about half of antibiotic prescriptions for upper respiratory infections are inappropriate.
