Your AORTA: is directly below your clavicle and occasional throbbing is normal HOWEVER if it continues a check up is "in order" Usually a simple chest x ray will determine if ( at 79 years of age) your aorta is enlarged (or has an aneurysm (bubble)) Check this out with your PCP Good Luck BE WELL!
