Recurrent staph: Eradicating staph carriage, or otherwise preventing recurrent infections, can be a difficult challenge. Some people have inherent increased susceptibility due to poorly understood immune system issues. But usually this problem can be solved. If the diagnosis of recurrent staph is definite, your next step should be consultation with an infectious diseases specialist.
