Pruritus ani: This is almost always due to fecal soiling. Whenever it feels wet or irritated, go in the toilet and clean off with bathroom paper. This is much more effective if lotion is on the paper. Aveeno, (oatmeal) Eucerin, or any lubricating lotion will do. Clean inside the anal canal. After a bowel movement do the same thing. After a wet fart clean with lotion. Avoid harsh scrubbing. Do not use much soap there.
