Prosopagnosia: It is called prosopagnosia and usually the result of a posterior circulation stroke. There is no real solution other than time and therapy and sometimes deficits following stroke can improve but sometimes not. While a stroke is a common cause of this condition, there are other etiologies and he should seek care from his neurologist.
