Neurogenic Bladder: Patients with spinal cord injuries are prone to many urologic complications. The bladder's function after sci varies based on the level of injury, and management of good emptying at low bladder pressures is key. Kidney stones are more common in sci patients as a result of bone demineralization from disuse of lower extremity muscles. Academic medical centers are well versed in managing sci bladder.
