A member asked:

What's the correct diagnosis regarding nonobstructing stones in the kidney, i have pain& urologist wont treat pain because he says its impossible?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pain management: Pain can be treated regardless of the cause if documented correctly. Nsaids, acetomenophen, opiates and synthetic opiates can be used to effectively manage short term acute and long term chronic pains. Most primary care physicians treat pain on a daily basis, so start with your pcp; but a referral to pain manage ment may be required.
