R/O COSTOCHONDRITIS: YES: You need to be examined have blood work and ekg. If you had a recent viral infection , you may have a post infection COSTOCHONDRITIS which usually responds to a course of prednisone with taper over 8dys. Also topical Voltaren (diclofenac) gel. PT with TENS&amp; US therapy are also effective. If pain persists PRP injections may be needed.
