I recently had a urology done. it came back with nitrites in my urine. but i was told that high amounts of caffeine before the test could cause this?

U nitrite 2nd coff?: Not certain which test they use so would need to look that up to see if coffee interferes. Recommend retesting without coffee.

Repeat: Nitrites on a urinalysis may indicate an infection. Try to get a repeat urinalysis including microscopic exam and a urine culture.
