Best to do no heavy: Lifting post surgical procedure as the increased vasalva and intrathoracic pressure placed on your body can stress area with sutures internally. Depends how much is your heavy flow. How many napkins or tampons worth? Call your surgeon in any case, and speak to them about it, and follow up immediately. If your flow is too heavy, and you're short of breath & fatigued, you'll have to go to ER.
