Get checked : Bleeding heavy enough to cause clotting is not normal midcycle. It may be that you don't have anything serious going on, but you really should be evaluated to know for certain. The older you are, the more worrisome midcylcle bleeding is. If you are over 40, you should be evaluated even if it's really only spotting.
