Herpes?: Any sores in the vaginal area that are painful and cause burning with urination need to be checked by the doctor. It is possible to have yeast infections that cause skin breakdown and sores (not sexually transmitted) but it could also be herpes or other sexually transmitted disease. Either way you need treatment for the problem
