Not always imaged...: The ovaries are not always imaged during pregnancy. Ovarian pain, however, is usually in the right or left lower quadrant. It would be somewhat unusual for ovarian pain to present in the Right UPPER Quadrant. That is where your liver and gallbladder are. Gall bladder pain is usually worse after eating fatty food.
