Activity: It sounds like your doctor says you are a candidate for a spinal cord stimulator. 24 yo woman s/p foot surgery with chronic pain. Where is the pain in your feet? If you do not have spine disease, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, or Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, I would consider activity modification. Have you considered cycling or swimming? You have many years of physical activity to enjoy.

Would be cautious: At age 25 you are basically thinking about a therapy you might need the rest of your life. SCS is a excellent treatment for nerve related pain, but I would investigate non invasive options first in your case. You can certainly run with a stimulator but there may be a chance of the leads moving or change in stimulation with some activity. Weigh the risk benefit ratio long term.
