Ditch the Armour: Armour thyroid contains a mix of T3 (liothyronine) and T4, so your blood levels of those are hard to interpret. The TSH is normal. The T3 (liothyronine) in Armour is fast acting, almost like taking adrenaline, and may be causing your palps and anxiety, even though TSH normal. This is why most people, especially older people, should be taking levothyroxine. Smoother delivery of thyroid hormone.
