See answer: It's likely that you have a viral gastroenteritis. Toxic shock syndrome from use of tampons is rare and the patient is critically ill at onset with high fever of 102 or more and hypotension(shock). But without the opportunity to examen you it's best to consult your physician for a definitive diagnosis and treatment.
