I have been on venlafaxine for 10 days for migraine, its leaving me exhausted and giving me higher headpain than the migraine. am i likely to adjust?

Possible: Sedation is not unusual and headache can be a side effect. It is best to try a treatment for 2-3 weeks as these effects usually minimize by then but if you are really suffering you may want to ask your prescribing physician for an alternative preventative medication.
