I bumped my arm n it bruised immediately. it's been 51 days n the bruise is still there. why won't it go away?

Persisting bruise: 51 days is a long time to have a persisting bruise without re-bruising. Would follow up with doctor or dermatologist a it needs further investigation, if it is a lesion that looks like a bruise or due to inadvertant re-bruising.
