Medication effects: Lexapro (escitalopram) and Tyrptizol (Amitryptiline) are not specific medications for GAD. Effect of Lexapro (escitalopram) lasts for 24 hours, therefore taking it with Tyrptizol puts you at risk of Severe Serotonin Syndrome.
