Ive been having painful pelvic/abdominal pain for a week now. could a cause be that i stopped using my birth control pills or is it cancer?

No cancer..: Infection is more common.....if you had sex, particularly dirty sex, multiple partners, anal sex......pelvic inflammatory problem. Constipation can be a simpler problem causing the same symptoms.
