Close follow-up.: A TOA is a pretty significant infection, and cannot be taken lightly. LIke you, women are often hospitalized for days for iV antibiotics. This has to be followed to resolution. Close follow-up with your local doctor, perhaps with CT scans and ultrasounds to confirm resolution, would be in order.
