Altitude sickness can be severe and cause the pressure in the brain to go up (intracranial hypertension), with nausea, vomitting, anxiety, blurred vision, headaches. It is best to monitor blood pressure and oxygen level regularly, particularly if you have medical problems, such as cardiovascular disease. Oxygen or acetozolamide may help
