Not rare: Any secretions will color within hours due to normal bacteria living on the nasal membranes. Baby needs a good clean out with nasal saline and suction. Remove irritants from babies environment like dust/smoke/fragrences/etc. These all increase their drainage.If babies feedings decline or s/he begins to "act sick", monitor temperature and contact the doc.
