Normal healing: Your oral herpes has healed on schedule. It's usually 10-14 days from the initial sore to scabs falling away. Once they do, smooth, pink skin is to be expected. So it sounds like it has healed, but it might take a few more weeks before there is no trace of pink. Ask your doctor about prescription for valacyclovir for next outbreak. Might prevent outbreak entirely, or will greatly speed healing.

Incomplete question: From what you described, you no longer have active infection with herpes. However, healing process may take a few weeks to reach completion. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.
