Many causes: Pain in the arm can be due to 1 Trauma to the arm. 2Muscle pain 3 Pain from the bones due to any cause. 4 Infection under the skin. 5 neurological pain from problem with neck. You can take over the counter medication like aleve (naproxen) or Ibuprofen. If it persists get it checked by your doctor
