R/O UVULITIS: UVULITIS often occurs in the setting of tonsillitis The linguiar tonsils are underneath the tongue. You need an exam and throat culture and empirical antibiotics. if difficulty breathing or swallowing develops get evaluated promptly at the nearest ER, for IV antibiotics and steroids.
