Stabbing Headache: Two types of headaches cause sharp transient pain: PRIMARY STABBING HA(Ice Pick HA) and SHORT-LASTING UNILATERAL NEURALGIFORM HEADACHE. The first type can occur anywhere in the head. The second type always occurs in or around the eye or temple area, and is accompanied by one or more of the following: tearing,conjunctival injection, runny/stuffy nose,facial/forehead sweating/flushing, ear fullness.
