Get it checked: We do not have enough information to tell you what is causing your pain . You have had it for few months . It is about time you consult your doctor to find out what is causing the pain and get it treated. It may be Muscular pain or pain coming from the thoracic or Cervicsl spine .you may need meds and /or Physical therapy and other trsatment depending on the Diagnosis. Consult your Doctor

What's not helping?: Do you mean just time? My advise is to see your PCP for an evaluation & imaging to find the cause. If needed you can get a referral to an orthopedic surgeon or spine surgeon, be sure fellowship trained.
