Supplement Potassium: Potassium(K+) on low side, low K+ can cause arrhythmias. UR Cl and Mg++ are in range. Blood drawn into glass tube, level of K+ can be falsely high. U may know HCT=40% means Redcells 40% & syrum 60%. UR body tries to keep serum K+ betw 4-5, but K+ in the cells is ~145. Blood draw can split 0.5% of cells(small needle, blood hits tube) K+ can appear falsely NL or high. Supplement K+ w banana daily.
