This requires: careful management. It most cases, a positive test 3 months after treatment represents a new infection rather than a treatment failure. It is unfortunate that you only took 1/2 of the recommended azithromycin (Zithromax) dose. NOW, you need to be recultured and wait for drug susceptibility testing to make sure you are treated with the appropriate antibiotics. Work carefully with your doctor.
