No: Acne are not contagious. It requires certain skin type and hormones to develop acne. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.

Not really: Acne is not spread like a strep throat.It is a complex condition that involves the skin/hormones/oil production and otherwise innocent skin germs. It is sort of like that person has asthma, you don't get it by contact. But acne is so common in teens and can come and go it is easy to think other teen behaviors set it off.
