Jones fractures: All Jones fractions do not need surgery. If the fracture is displaced, surgery may be indicated. A Jones fracture should be immobilized in a walking boot or a cast with crutches for approximately 4 to 6 weeks. If there is evidence of The bone not healing properly, surgery may be indicated.
