Hello, this phrase was on my ultrasound report (just done)"there is diffuse homogeneity of the thyroid parenchyma." what does this mean? an old ultrasound report from 07 said " both thyroid lobes are homogeneous in echotexture.

Thyroid scan: It means that the thyroid showed no abnormalities. However I think that you should ask the physician who ordered the scan and gave you the report to explain this to you
