Tried to remove tonsil stone by gently pressing on tonsil w/ qtip. caused stream of blood. never had this happen b4 w/ past stones. infection?

Possibly: Tonsil stones should not bleed but if your tonsils are painful or the Qtip irritated the tonsil it could bleed. Please get checked out in person to be more sure of what is going on here.

Hemorrhage: Each difficult removal changes the shape of the crypt. You burst a little arteriole. No real harm done. Try a water pick. I know a few folks who use a half unbent paper clip.
