You need to: have a full exam before you take prescription meds. Most communities have free or nearly free clinics where you can go for proper diagnosis and treatment of STD's. Ask around.

Maintenance: If you are sexually active you need to plan medical evaluations as part of the ongoing maintenance. There are probably a dozen diseases that can pass sexually and if you are exposed to one, there can be a second or third passed at the same encounter. Find a free STD clinic and get tested/treated. Docs can loose their license by prescribing without proper evaluation and documentation. Not worth it.
